TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Specialist Eligibility
CYBER SECURITY COURSE ELIGIBILITY
The provision of the issuing of a certificate on successful completion of the TÜV Rheinland CySec Security Risk Assessment course is subject to the participant passing the course pre-requisites.
Following the instructions below to submit your eligibility paperwork.
All evidence shall be submitted in English.
ELIGIBILITY FOR FIRST COURSE OR FIRST RENEWAL
In accordance with the TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety and Cyber Security Program:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a related field (e.g. Control & Instrumentation, process engineering, IT/OT, functional safety or cyber security).
- University degree or equivalent engineering experience and responsibilities as certified by employer or engineering institution.
Note: Attending the Fundamentals of Cyber Security training and passing the exam or only passing the exam of the training is a prerequisite to attend the Cyber Security advanced trainings of the TÜV Rheinland Cyber Security Training Program including the Security Risk Assessment course.
Complete the form below demonstrating your experience in Control & Instrumentation, process engineering, IT/OT, functional safety or cyber security. The form needs to be completed as concisely as possible, the experience does not need to be concurrent. Ensure that sufficient detail is included on the specific tasks completed and against which standards to enable the confirmation of eligibility more easily.
We recognize that other industrial experiences will be relevant to the participants roles. However, on this form we are only interested in Control & Instrumentation, process engineering, IT/OT, functional safety or cyber security activities so please don’t include other experience e.g. Hazardous Area experience.
The final pages are for data processing purposes, if you select that TÜV Rheinland can’t contact you then you WILL NOT receive your certificate upon successful completion of the course.
The form should be submitted as soon as possible so that the eligibility can be confirmed soonest. Participants will not be allowed to attend the course until this has been confirmed. Therefore, the sooner this is submitted the better, you may be asked to include more details.
