ESC presents to Institute of Measurement and Control
The North West team of Engineering Safety Consultants Limited (ESC Limited) was recently invited by the Institute of Measurement and Control (Manchester and Chester Section) to deliver inputs as part of its technical programme.
The day involved Ron Bell OBE (ESC Limited Director) presenting a lecture entitled ‘How safe is safe enough?’ to the University of Manchester and Liverpool John Moores University.
This was followed in the evening by a joint presentation by Ron Bell and David Green (ESC Limited’s Engineering Manager – North West) on ‘Functional Testing and Proof Testing’ to an audience of industry representatives at the Institute’s monthly technical meeting.
The day addressed approximately 130 people of varying stages of their engineering careers.
Feedback from the day was very positive from the presenters and attendees.
